DATA PROTECTION
PRIVACY & GDPR NOTICE.
This notice explains what personal data SKYSHARK.AI processes, why, on what legal basis, how long we keep it, and how you exercise your rights under the UK GDPR and EU General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679).
1. Who we are
SKYSHARK.AI is a product of Prodia Systems Limited, the data controller for personal data processed through this website and our physical-security intelligence services. Prodia Systems Limited is a private company limited by shares incorporated in Ireland under company number 822962.

2. Data Protection Officer
We have appointed a Data Protection Officer (DPO) who is responsible for overseeing this notice and answering questions about how we handle personal data. You can contact the DPO directly and confidentially:
Data Protection Officer, Prodia Systems Limited (SKYSHARK.AI)
27 Pembroke Street Upper, Dublin 2, D02 X361, Ireland
Email: dpo@skyshark.ai
Response target: within 30 days, as required by GDPR Art. 12(3).
Because we deliver physical-security monitoring, the DPO also handles requests relating to CCTV, machine-vision footage and other security processing carried out on behalf of our customers, where we act as processor.
3. What we collect and why
- Contact and demo requests — name, work email, company and message, so we can respond. Legal basis: steps taken at your request prior to a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)).
- Technical data — IP address, device and browser type, and security logs. Legal basis: legitimate interest in keeping the service secure and available (Art. 6(1)(f)).
- Analytics and marketing data — only where you have given consent through the cookie banner. Legal basis: consent (Art. 6(1)(a)).
- Customer security data — where a customer deploys SKYSHARK, we process video and sensor data as a processor, strictly under that customer's documented instructions and a GDPR Art. 28 data processing agreement.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
Non-essential cookies are blocked by default and are only set after you consent. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time.
5. Sharing and international transfers
We share personal data only with vetted processors who host, secure or support this site and our services, always under a written contract. Where data leaves the UK or EEA, we rely on UK International Data Transfer Agreements or EU Standard Contractual Clauses, with a transfer risk assessment on file. We do not sell personal data.
6. Retention
We keep enquiry data for up to 24 months after last contact, security logs for up to 12 months, and consent records for up to 24 months as proof of compliance. Customer security data is retained for the period set by that customer in their processing agreement.
7. Your rights
Ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
Have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected.
Ask us to delete your data where there is no overriding lawful basis to keep it.
Ask us to pause processing while a concern is resolved.
Receive data you provided in a structured, machine-readable format.
Object to processing based on legitimate interests, including direct marketing.
Withdraw cookie or marketing consent at any time, without affecting prior processing.
Lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority.
To exercise any right, email dpo@skyshark.ai. We will not charge a fee or make the service worse because you exercised a right.
8. Security
We apply encryption in transit, least-privilege access control, logging and regular review of our processors, in line with GDPR Art. 32. Suspected personal data breaches are assessed immediately and notified to the relevant supervisory authority within 72 hours where required.
9. Changes
We review this notice at least annually. Material changes are announced on this page and, where consent is affected, by re-presenting the cookie banner.
Supervisory authority: you may lodge a complaint with the Irish Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie) or your local EU/UK supervisory authority. See also our Website Terms, Cookie Policy and Trademark & IP Notice.
